MFP (or any optional feature) can only be installed from the admin account apparently. I cannot install anything.ĮDIT: found it. However, when I do this, NOTHING appears in the list. To install the Media Feature Pack, navigate to Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional Features > Add a Feature and find the Media Feature Pack in the list of available Optional Features. This page explains how to upgrade MFP now: Make sure youve fully updated Windows before installing the latest media pack. Microsoft changed the way it works and now MFP can no longer be DLed from their web site. Sounds like the system shipped with the N version of Windows 10 - in which case youll need to download and install the media features pack - or use another free PDF reader (Adobe, Foxit, etc.). However, after upgrading to Win10 2004, I face an issue. Usually, this was done by downloading the latest version of the MFP from the Microsoft web site. Whenever I update Windows, I also need to re-install the Media Feature Pack in order to be able to do many things like playing a video on Youtube. I'm running the 'N' version of Windows 10 (Education version provided by my institute).
